Förutom berättelser om släktingars öden och äventyr i Nordamerika innehåller boken även lite allmänna fakta kring emigrationen från Sverige.

In recent years, I have focused most of my genealogy research on migrants. As a result, the book Across the Atlantic – Swedish migrants and their descendants is now published here. Besides the stories about the migrants and their lives in North America, the book contains general facts about emigration from Sweden, Swedish name traditions, church books, and other useful information for genealogists.
